🚗 Join Our Team at Artarmon Smash Repair Shop! 📍 Artarmon, NSW We are expanding our team and are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our growing workshop in the following roles: 🔧 Panel Beater Responsibilities: • Carry out structural and non-structural repairs on damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards • Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels and components using specialised repair equipment and techniques • Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods • Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, and productivity • Collaborate with estimators, painters, and other workshop staff to ensure efficient repair processes • Ensure all repairs are completed within allocated timeframes and quality standards Requirements: • Proven experience as a Panel Beater within the automotive repair industry • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, tools, and equipment • Ability to interpret repair orders and technical specifications accurately • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment • Relevant trade qualifications will be highly regarded 🛠 Mechanic Responsibilities: • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and industry-standard procedures • Perform repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of vehicles • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify safety or performance-related issues • Ensure all mechanical work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service activities • Support workshop operations and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment Requirements: • Relevant automotive mechanical qualifications and industry experience • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Sound knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair procedures • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Current driver’s licence preferred 🎨 Automotive Painter Responsibilities: • Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and surface refinishing • Mix and match paint colours to achieve accurate manufacturer finishes • Apply paint coatings using spray-painting equipment and approved techniques • Inspect completed paintwork to ensure a high-quality finish and consistency • Maintain painting equipment and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards • Work closely with panel beaters and workshop staff to meet repair deadlines Requirements: • Demonstrated experience in automotive spray painting and refinishing • Strong knowledge of paint systems, colour matching, and surface preparation techniques • High level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship • Ability to manage workload efficiently in a busy workshop environment • Commitment to workplace cleanliness, safety, and quality standards • Relevant trade qualifications are advantageous 🔩 Fitter Responsibilities: • Install, assemble, and fit automotive parts and components in accordance with repair specifications • Inspect fitted components to ensure correct alignment, functionality, and safety compliance • Remove and refit mechanical and body components during the repair process • Conduct quality control checks on completed installations and repairs • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition • Assist in achieving workshop productivity and quality targets Requirements: • Previous experience in automotive fitting, assembly, or related workshop environments • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills • Ability to read and interpret repair instructions and technical documentation • Good attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team • Positive attitude and strong work ethic ✨ Why Join Us? • Good money • Friendly and supportive work environment • Opportunities for career growth and professional development 📩 How to Apply: If you are passionate about the automotive industry and would like to join our professional team, please send your resume to acc•••••@gmail.com or contact us on 04•• ••• 626.
