Full-time position

Minimum 38 hours per week

Workdays: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and logbook servicing

Repair and replace engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials

Inspect and repair braking systems, steering, and suspension components

Conduct tyre fitting, balancing, rotations, and wheel alignments

Carry out vehicle inspections and road testing

Perform preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns

Maintain accurate service and repair records

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards

Provide technical advice and support to customers when required

Work efficiently to meet deadlines and workshop targets

Assist in maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment

Use and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively

Skills & Requirements:

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and Diploma of Automotive Technology

Minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models

Knowledge of engine management systems and automotive electronics

Ability to use diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently and as part of a team demands
