We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, conducting routine maintenance and repairs, using diagnostic tools, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers are essential. Experience with air conditioning systems or auto electrical work is highly regarded. Task & responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Conduct logbook servicing, brake and clutch repairs, suspension work, and exhaust system maintenance.
Repair and replace worn or defective parts and components
Conduct road tests to ensure repairs are completed to high standards
Liaise with customers to explain faults, repairs, and provide quotes
Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Qualification & experience
Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
Ideally 1- 3 years' experience as a qualified mechanic; however, we might consider those freshly qualified
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid Australian driver's license.
