About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced House Manager / Nanny to join our family in Port Macquarie, NSW. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding role providing support to a busy professional family.
Monday to Thursday, 12noon - 6pm (24 hours / week)
What you'll be doing
Providing high-quality after school childcare for our children, including supervising homework and providing transport to / from after school activities.
Maintaining a clean and organised household, including tidying the house daily, putting laundry away, and running errands such as dry cleaning.
Coordinating appointments, and transportation for the children - for example orthodontist appointments.
Meal planning, shopping and preparing the evening family meal four nights a week.
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a nanny or house manager, preferably in a similar family-oriented environment
Strong childcare skills, with the ability to engage with children
Strong healthy cooking skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Reliable, responsible, and adaptable, with a positive attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
First aid certification, WWCC and a valid driver's licence
Honesty and discretion
Flexibility to occasionally work late when once of us is travelling for work
Your own reliable car for transport to from work, and also to after school activities.
What we offer
A supportive and work environment where you will have a lot of autonomy to run your afternoon as you see to be appropriate. The kids schedule each week is fixed, so there will be a specific routine each afternoon once they finish school.
We will meal plan with you, to ensure that the dinners will be suitable and liked by family members.

About us
We are two busy professionals with three children living in Lighthouse Beach, Port Macquarie. Our children are - B (12), B (10), G (8). They all enjoy many after school pursuits and are involved in sport/dance/tutoring most afternoons after school.
Our children will be in Year 7, Year 5 and Year 3 in 2026.
We value our time together as a family and are looking for support so that our time together can be more focused, with much of the house admin done.
