Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper – Mount Isa, QLD
We are a warm, animal-loving family seeking a dedicated and caring full-time Nanny / Housekeeper to join our home. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys nurturing young children, is confident managing household tasks, and is looking to build a long-term relationship with a supportive family.

About the Role
You will be responsible for caring for our two children, aged 5 and 8 years, and assisting with general housekeeping duties.
Hours:

Monday to Friday
Occasional Saturdays (as needed)
Additional 3–4 hours on Mondays for household tasks
Extra hours available during school holidays
Average: 76 hours per fortnight
Key Responsibilities
Sole care of children before and after school
School drop-off/pick-up (manual car provided)
Supervise homework, activities, and educational play
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children

Maintain a tidy and organised household, including:
Kitchen cleaning and dishwasher use
Vacuuming/mopping common areas
Washing, folding, and putting away laundry
Changing bed linen
Supporting children to maintain tidy bedrooms and play areas
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a nanny, childcare, or similar role
Genuinely loves children – kind, patient, and engaging
Comfortable with animals (we're a pet-loving household)
Honest, proactive, and well-organised
Strong time management and communication skills
Confident driver with a clean record
Excellent spoken English and non-smoker
Required Certifications
First Aid & CPR Certification
Working with Children Check
Valid manual driver's licence + 5-year driving history
Two references (including at least one childcare-related)
