About Us
We are a warm, energetic and busy family with four school-aged children heavily involved in sports and extracurricular activities. Our afternoons are active, fast-paced and full — and we're looking for an exceptional Family Learning & Household Manager to help everything run smoothly.
This is not just a childcare role. It's a dynamic position combining learning support, household organisation and after-school coordination. We're seeking someone who enjoys structure, takes initiative, and can become a trusted, steady and capable extra adult in our home.

Key Responsibilities
After-School Care & Learning Support
School pickups and transport to extracurricular activities (family car provided if required)
Preparing healthy after-school snacks
Supervising homework, reading and school projects
Encouraging organisation, time management and independent learning skills
Helping children prepare school bags, uniforms and equipment
Managing sports gear and uniforms (washing, packing and preparation)
Household & Routine Management
Preparing or assisting with family dinners
Kitchen reset and maintaining tidy common areas
Laundry cycles for children (school uniforms and sportswear)
Packing lunches and preparing for the next school day
Resetting spaces to support calm, organised mornings
Family Administration & Organisation
Managing school communications, reminders and notices
Tracking upcoming school events, camps and activities
Assisting with forms, permission slips and admin tasks
Ordering school, sports and household supplies
Coordinating family calendars and schedules
Organising birthday gifts and small errands
Occasional Support
About You
You are:
Highly organised, reliable and proactive
Fit, energetic and comfortable keeping up with active, sporty children
Calm, confident and capable
Comfortable taking responsibility and making independent decisions
Able to manage multiple moving parts in a busy household
A confident driver with a current licence
Experienced as a nanny, au pair, household manager, teacher's aide, education student or parent (highly regarded)
Must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship
Must hold a current Working with Children Check before commencing employment
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in childcare or household management
An interest in education, child development or learning support is important. While formal teaching qualifications are not required, this role would particularly suit someone studying or considering a future in education, childcare, psychology or a related field — or someone who genuinely enjoys helping children build strong learning habits and independence.
