About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Motor Mechanic capable of carrying out comprehensive servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of light vehicles. The right candidate will demonstrate strong technical capability, efficiency, and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced and well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
Conduct diagnostic work using modern automotive diagnostic tools
Repair and replace engine components, braking systems, suspension, and related assemblies
Carry out road tests and quality control checks to ensure performance and safety compliance
Maintain accurate job records and service documentation
Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements
Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of full-time, post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic
Strong practical experience in diagnostics, repairs, and modern vehicle systems
Full Australian working rights
High level of technical skill, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safe work practices
