Task & Responsibilities

• Attend roadside breakdowns when required to provide on-the-spot mechanical support.
• Test and fine-tune repaired systems to verify they are functioning efficiently and safely.
• Use computerized diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle systems and pinpoint issues accurately.
• Carry out routine servicing tasks, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance with environmental standards.
• Replace or repair faulty components, then reassemble systems using technical manuals and guidelines as needed.
• Disassemble engine units, transmissions, steering systems, and other major components to inspect and assess parts for wear or damage.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in engines and related vehicle systems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to determine roadworthiness and may issue certificates or provide recommendations for necessary repairs.
• Rebuild engines and other assemblies after repairs are completed, ensuring all parts are correctly installed.

Qualification & Experience

• Relevant qualification and 1 year experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• Relevant certification or diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
