🔧 About the Role – What You’ll Do

As a Motor Mechanic with us, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality automotive maintenance and repair services that align with core ANZSCO Motor Mechanic tasks, including:

• Diagnose and identify mechanical faults in engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension systems.
• Perform inspections and testing using diagnostic tools to ensure vehicles are operating correctly.
• Remove, repair, replace and reassemble worn or defective parts, ensuring strict adherence to workshop procedures and safety standards.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, tune-ups and brake checks, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
• Provide accurate logbook servicing, keeping detailed records of tasks performed.
• Advise customers on vehicle condition, preventative maintenance and necessary repairs

What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

✔ At least 1 year of motor mechanic experience in automotive maintenance and repair.

✔ An Australian qualification equivalent to Certificate III or Certificate IV in Automotive Technology / Automotive Mechanical Technology (or similar).

✔ A valid Australian driver’s licence.

✔ Hands-on knowledge of driving and testing all types of cars — both manual and automatic transmissions.

✔ Strong diagnostic ability, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
