$40 - $40 Hourly

We are seeking an experienced Cylinder Head Machinist to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for precision machining of cylinder heads for standard and high-performance automotive engines.

What you will be doing:

Operate high end machinery and manual machining equipment to refurbish and modify cylinder heads
Inspect components and identify any issues or defects
Perform precision measurements and make necessary adjustments
Maintain detailed records of work completed
Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards
Collaborate with the wider engineering team to optimise production processes
Maintain machinery, equipment and tooling

Requirements:

Formal qualifications in Automotive Engineering or equivalent trade certification
Minimum 3 years experience as a Cylinder Head Machinist or similar role
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
CNC machining experience would be an advantage
