Junior Motor Mechanic

• Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults 
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts including brakes, suspension components, steering systems, batteries and engine components
• Performing logbook and scheduled vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturers specs 
• Conducting oil changes and general vehicle maintenance 
• Carrying our brake servicing and repairs 
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical and electrical issues
• Carrying out Wheel balancing services 
• Carrying out suspension installations including 4wd lift kits 
• Ensuring compliance with Work Place Healy and Safety 

Essential Requirements 

• Minimum Certificate IV Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or closely related automotive qualifications
• At Least 12 months experience as an Automotive Mechanic 
• Demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical verhicle faults 
• Experience in performaning log book servicing and general mechanical repairs 
• Stong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring every repair is carried out to the highest standard
• Ability to work both independantly and as part of a team 
• Strong communicator
