Task & responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment 
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems 
• Performing scheduled servicing and logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer requirements 
• Inspecting vehicles and identifying faults or additional repair needs 
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed
• Repairing or replacing defective components including engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and fuel systems 
• Testing and adjusting mechanical systems after repair 
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard 

Qualification & experience

AQF Certificate III or at least three years of relevant experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and within a team 

High attention to detail
