In this role, you’ll be responsible for restoring vehicles to their best condition through tasks such as assessing damage, repairing dents, aligning frames, and replacing parts. Task & responsibilities

• Assessing vehicle damage
• Aligning frames and chassis using mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Removing damaged panels and parts, and removing upholstery and accessories to gain access
• Filling depressions with plastic filler, and filling, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces
• Fitting repaired or replacement panels on vehicle and refitting body hardware such as door locks and trims
• Ensuring high-quality workmanship
• Following safety procedures
• May spray-paint vehicles

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair
• Proven experience as a Panel beater
• Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver's license and own tools
