Assistant Spa Manager

Sunday to Thursday | Full-time | Front of House Leadership Role

We are looking for an Assistant Spa Manager who is confident leading a large team, managing the business day-to-day, and having real, sometimes difficult conversations with both team members and clients. This role requires someone who can coach, motivate, and lift performance, while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

We currently have an Assistant Spa Manager opportunity available to support the Spa Manager in the leadership, performance, and operational management of the spa.

This is a front-of-house leadership role, working Sunday to Thursday evenings on reception, overseeing client experience, booking efficiency, retail performance, and leading a team of 20+ therapists.

Together with the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the team to consistently deliver exceptional service and treatment standards

• Driving individual and team KPIs across retail, rebooking, and client retention

• Managing performance, behaviour, and accountability across the team

• Coaching team members to achieve their best — not just telling them what to do

• Addressing underperformance and client concerns confidently and professionally

• Building a strong, respectful, high-performing team culture

This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and leadership-heavy. You will be required to make decisions, give feedback, and lead calmly under pressure.

Hours & Benefits

Hours: Full-time | Sunday to Thursday

Salary: $72,000 – $75,000 + super + incentives

About You

You are a confident, resilient leader who understands that great teams don’t happen by accident — they are led.

You bring:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a management or team leadership role

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the beauty or spa industry

• Strong people-management skills with the confidence to have difficult conversations

• A coaching mindset — you know how to develop people, not just manage them

• High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills

• A results-driven attitude with strong retail, rebooking, and KPI focus

• Excellent organisation and time management skills

• The ability to stay calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure

Mandatory Requirements

You must hold:

• Diploma of Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)

• Diploma in Salon Management (preferred)

• Australian citizenship
