In this role, you will diagnose, repair, service and maintain a wide variety of vehicles with a strong focus on transmissions, driveline systems and mechanical performance.

You will work alongside experienced technicians in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose & repair mechanical faults in transmissions, gearboxes and diffs.
• Conduct diagnostic testing using modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Remove, overhaul and replace gearboxes, clutches and driveline components.
• Test mechanical components and systems after repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure all repairs and servicing meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain workshop hygiene and assist with equipment upkeep.

About You

You should have:

• Minimum Certificate III and IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology, OR a Successor qualification in the relevant field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical components.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Full-time work rights in Australia.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
