Mendi Constructions is seeking a reliable Landscaping Labourer to join our team and support landscaping and irrigation works across civil construction projects in Townsville and surrounding regions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering quality landscaping outcomes as part of a site team.

About the Role

You’ll assist with day-to-day landscaping and irrigation activities on civil projects, working under the direction of supervisors and tradespeople to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with landscaping and irrigation works including turfing, planting, mulching, and basic irrigation installation

• Support site preparation and clean-up activities

• Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely

• Follow drawings, instructions, and work schedules as directed

• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship

• Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines

About You

• Previous experience in landscaping, irrigation, or labouring roles preferred

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions

• Strong work ethic and a reliable, positive attitude

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Current driver’s licence and White Card (essential)

• MR/HR licence or horticulture experience an advantage, but not required
