Integrated Construction Modelling (ICM)

Integrated Construction Modelling (ICM) is an established and growing structural steel detailing consultancy delivering high-quality 3D modelling, shop detailing, and fabrication documentation across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer with strong Tekla Structures expertise to join our team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for producing accurate and fabrication-ready structural steel models and drawings, working closely with fabricators, engineers, and project managers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Produce detailed 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures

· Generate shop drawings, assembly drawings, and NC files for fabrication

· Interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications

· Coordinate with engineers, fabricators, and other consultants

· Identify and resolve clashes and constructability issues

· Maintain compliance with relevant Australian Standards and project requirements

· Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality

Skills & Experience

· Proven experience as a Structural Steel Detailer

· Minimum 3-4 years of structural steel detailing experience required

· Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures (essential)

· Advanced user level proficiency in Tekla Structures is required

· Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection practices

· Experience detailing commercial and/or industrial steelwork

· Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
