We specialise in commercial joinery, new construction, shop fitouts, renovations and repairs. Our reputation has been built on exceptional quality, professional service, industry knowledge and attention to detail.

We are now looking for an experienced Joinery Drafter to join our team and play an integral role in taking projects from design through to production and installation.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced drafter who understands the joinery and manufacturing process and enjoys working closely with architects, clients, management and production teams.

Microvellum experience is essential, along with strong AutoCAD skills and a solid understanding of cabinetmaking and joinery construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for client and project approval.

• Produce accurate manufacturing drawings, CNC files, routing files and nesting.

• Liaise with management, architects and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements.

• Develop drawings detailing dimensions, materials, construction methods and assembly procedures.

• Coordinate projects through production and work closely with the production team.

• Prepare material take-offs, breakdowns and ordering requirements.

• Allocate stock and assist with purchasing requirements.

• Communicate concepts and drawings clearly to production and installation teams.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Joinery Drafter or in a similar role.

• Microvellum experience is essential.

• AutoCAD experience.

• Strong understanding of joinery/cabinetmaking construction and manufacturing.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• A professional, positive and customer-focused approach.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in commercial joinery.

• Experience across drafting, manufacturing and installation.

• Cabinet Maker, Joiner or Carpenter trade qualification.
