About the role:
We're building a brand-new team dedicated to renewable energy finance, and we're looking for our first wave of Inbound Sales Representatives to help build it from the ground up.
In this role you'll engage exclusively with high intent customers who've already applied for solar, battery or other renewable finance and are ready to move forward!
You’ll guide customers through the application process, assess their eligibility for renewable energy schemes, and help overcome the final hurdles standing between application and loan funding. Your priority is to build trust quickly, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and make it as easy as possible for customers to confidently move forward.
Key responsibilities:
Own and manage inbound renewable finance enquiries from application to funding
Guide customers through the application process and renewable scheme eligibility, clearly explaining options and requirements
Explain rebates, incentives and eligibility across renewable energy schemes to help customers make informed decisions
Engage with customers across phone, email, SMS and live chat to support conversion and provide a seamless experience
Proactively follow up with warm leads and incomplete applications to maximise conversion opportunities
Deliver a personalised customer experience while maintaining responsible lending and compliance standards
Keep CRM records accurate, capture customer insights and escalate complex cases when needed
Work closely with the wider team to share best practice, improve processes and help shape the new function
About you:
You're driven, customer-focused, and motivated by results. You enjoy turning conversations into outcomes, building trust quickly, and following through for your customers. You're excited by the idea of helping build something new and you're genuinely curious about renewable energy.
You'll have:
2+ years' experience in a customer service or sales role (sales, call center, retail, financial services or similar)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust, influence decisions and close opportunities
A compliance-first mindset and genuine attention to detail
An interest in renewable energy, solar or sustainability
A team-player mentality that thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
