An exciting opportunity is waiting for the right person to join one of Australia’s foremost Print & Marketing companies based in Alexandria.

We require an experienced Digital Press Operator and Shift Manager for our constantly growing and rapidly expanding digital production department, operating the latest HP Indigo 12000 HD press and latest Ricoh with inline booklet maker.

We’re after a special person to join our team at our Sydney (Alexandria) plant early in the New Year. You will need to be highly skilled with Indigos and other presses at the forefront of digital printing.

About the Role

In this position you will be responsible for running our HP Indigo 12000 HD press alongside our HP Indigo 7800 producing high quality brochures, flyers, books, posters and business cards with quick turnarounds.

Key Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and gain valuable commercial experience in a successful Digital Printing environment. We are looking for aptitude over experience. If you are interested in establishing your career in high quality print this is the job for you.

The ideal candidate will :

• have a minimum Level 1 Operator Certificate on HP Indigos in either S3 or S4 machines

• be reliable

• be a team player with a positive attitude

• be proactive, efficient and are able to work unsupervised

• be quality focused

• have the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks to ensure that deadlines are met

• have strong organisational skills

• be experienced in pre-press/artwork and colour management (preferred but not essential)

• be a permanent or full-time resident of Australia
