Prison Cleaner – Permanent Part-Time

We are seeking a dedicated Prison Cleaner to join our team at Cherry Creek Youth Justice Centre. 
This role is essential in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for staff and inmates.

Position: Prison Cleaner
Contract: Permanent Part-Time
Pay Rate: $33.61 per hour plus Superannuation
Location: Cherry Creek Youth Justice, Little River, VIC
Hours: Monday to Friday, 20:30 to 00:30

Key Responsibilities
•    Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including offices, reception, workshops, bathrooms, communal areas, and foyers
•    Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, staircases, and surfaces
•    Perform bio-cleaning when required

Requirements
•    Reliable vehicle and valid Driver’s License
•    Ability to kneel, lift, and stand for four hours or more
•    Recent National Police Check (under six months) and valid Employee Working with Children Card
•    Ability to pass a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol tests
