The Role & Project MACA Mining are seeking an experienced Leading Hand HD Fitter on a 2/1 Roster to join our maintenance team at our Mcphee Creek project.  The McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project is located 30km north of Nullagine in the north-east Pilbara region of WA.

Position: HD Fitter – Field Service Location: Goldfields & Pilbara, WA Roster: Flexible rosters - you choose Pay: Up to $90/hr + Super on all hours worked Employment Type: Full-Time or Casual About the Role: This is a true old-school field service role — not just a “toolbagger” with a ute.

What We Can Offer Location: Sunshine Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work when required Pay Rate: Upto $60 per hour + penalties based on experience Scope of Work Working on mobile and fixed plant equipment Minor and major mechanical repairs Servicing and preventative maintenance Breakdown repairs and fault finding Maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on fixed plant equipment Working on picking stations, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, chutes, and associated systems Ability to work independently and diagnose mechanical issues efficiently Requirements Proven experience with mobile plant equipment 3 years Fixed plant experience ( Essential) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Relevant Trade Certificate Available for an immediate start Please be advised this is local work How to Apply If you believe you have the experience we are looking for and would like to apply, please click the "APPLY" button now.
