Task & responsibilities

• Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models). 
• Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solution
• Mechanical repairs include periodic servicing, brake repair, clutches, and timing belt repair/replacement on different makes and models.
• Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues. 
• Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment. 
• Change engine and transmission oils. 
• Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles. 
• Adhere to and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, and perform general housekeeping and workshop maintenance.
• Train other workshop staff.

Qualification & experience

• Australian Qualifications (Certificate III or IV)
• Minimum two years prior experience in a similar role
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Great attention to detail
• Highly Motivated
