About the role

Gayle's Salon, a leading hair and beauty salon in Rockhampton, QLD, is seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our growing team. As a Hairdresser, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hair services to our diverse clientele. This full-time position offers opportunities for career growth and development within a vibrant and dynamic work environment. We also have Casual and part-time positions available.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a wide range of hairstyling services, including cutting, colouring, perming, and treatments

• Consulting with clients to understand their hair care needs and desired look, then recommending and performing the appropriate services

• Maintaining a high level of technical expertise and staying up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques

• Ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for every client

• Contributing to the overall success and growth of the salon

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in hairdressing, such as a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Hairdresser in a salon environment

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients

• Creativity and an eye for detail to deliver high-quality hairstyles

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry trends

• A friendly, positive, and energetic personality that aligns with the salon's culture
