The Groundsperson is responsible for assisting with the improvement and preservation of College grounds, property and buildings.

✅ YOU WILL
Maintain College grounds by mowing, planting, weeding, mulching, fertilising and more
Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, whipper-snippers, and hedgers
Maintain, care and routinely repair grounds equipment
Assist with general grounds and maintenance tasks as required
Assist the logistics department, set up and dismantle equipment as required
Foster strong relationships with the College community and external stakeholders
Proactively manage a risk-averse operation and foster a positive culture

Working knowledge of grounds practices and responsibilities  
General maintenance or construction trade experience, well regarded
Qualifications in grounds maintenance, workplace health and safety certification and licences, well regarded
Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills with sound digital literacy
Dedication to integrity, reliability, sound judgement, service and risk adversity
Working with Children blue card and driver licence
Ability to operate grounds and maintenance equipment, work outdoors and perform physical duties including standing and manual handling tasks such as bending and lifting
