Our client is a well-established facilities services provider renowned for maintaining safe, sustainable, and functional environments across various sectors. They are currently seeking a Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join their team at a prestigious site located in Clayton, VIC.

This is an exciting opportunity for a groundskeeper, skilled tradesperson, or experienced maintenance professional to join a supportive company and take the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking grounds maintenance, including gardening, mowing, landscaping and general upkeep of outdoor spaces
• Completing general building maintenance and minor repairs, including basic carpentry, patching, painting and other maintenance tasks
• Responding to maintenance requests and ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and to a high standard
• Supporting site improvement projects and seasonal works across the property
• Assisting with event set-up and pack-down, including moving furniture, equipment and other items as required
• Supporting the general upkeep, presentation and functionality of the site
• Ensuring all maintenance and grounds works are completed safely and in line with relevant site requirements

About You:

• A relevant qualification in horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance or a related field
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance, gardening and general site upkeep
• Experience with minor building maintenance and repairs, including basic carpentry, patching and general handyman tasks
• A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable assisting with event set-up and pack-down, including moving furniture and equipment as required
• Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
• Current driver’s licence required
• Ability to pass a Police Check and Working With Children Check
• Able to provide two professional references
