The opportunity:
Are you ready to turn your passion and trade skills for gardening and outdoor aesthetics into a rewarding career? Situated at the beautiful Main Beach; Sea World is looking for its next grounds super star!

As a Groundskeeper, you will help deliver a high standard of park presentation, whilst enhancing the aesthetics of the grounds of our property. You will also have opportunities to add your own creativity and imagination to our amazing property.

Enjoy the work life balance with early starts, and early finishes while still completing a 38 hour work week. Shifts range from 5:00am to 5:30am starts to 1:30 – 2:00pm finishes, with a 11:30am – 12:00pm finish every 5th shift based on business needs.

Your day to day:
•   General landscaping and garden maintenance and basic irrigation
•   Mowing, hedging, spraying and general laboring duties
•   Operation, maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery
•   Following all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for team members and guests

What you’ll bring:
•   A current manual drivers license is essential
•   Certificate III in Horticulture highly desirable
•   Demonstrated experience in a similar position with a knowledge of horticulture
•   A current bobcat, excavator, back-hoe, truck license or tractor driving experience is advantageous
•   A high level of understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
•   Must be physically fit, physical requirements include but are not limited to: carrying, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, twisting
•   Must be able to start at 5:00am and work on any days including weekends and school holidays
