Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or at least two years experience in a similar role

• Industry Standard White Card

• Current Drivers Licence

• Knowledge of Australian Standards

• Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety

• Customer focused, quality conscious and knowledgeable in all aspects of glazing

• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues

• Ability to measure, fabricate and install various glass and aluminium products

• Punctual and willing to work

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Repair or replace various types of glass and aluminium components, including removing and cleaning old glass.

• Measure, fabricate, and install residential and commercial products such as windows, doors, shower screens, robes, mirrors, splashbacks, security screens/doors, pool fencing, shop fronts, and partitions.

• Measure projects accurately, considering current codes and standards, and provide clear measurements and specifications for the ordering process.

• Fabricate glass and aluminium products, using specialised tools and equipment, in a timely manner to meet installation deadlines.

• Install our products safely and effectively using a variety of tools and techniques, with the goal of completing the project in one go.

• Work as an individual and a team member, engaging in both private and insurance works, maintaining relationships with key clients and providing the best in customer service and quality.

• Wear appropriate PPE, use safety tools and equipment, practice safe manual handling, and follow safe work regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Maintain the company's tools, equipment, and vehicle, including cleaning and sharpening, and advise of any repairs or replacements that are required.
