A Class Metals is looking for an experienced senior fabricator to join our team in Caringbah.

This is a full-time, hands-on role for a capable tradesperson who can fabricate quality stainless steel and aluminium work with minimal supervision and take ownership of jobs from drawings through to finished product.

We are a well-established fabrication business that specialises in aluminium and stainless steel work across a range of architectural and custom projects.

This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, maintains high standards, solves problems on the workshop floor and leads by example.

About the role

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a genuine senior fabricator with strong trade skills, sound judgement and a practical approach to quality, workflow and safety.

You will be trusted to fabricate accurately, think ahead, work independently and help maintain strong workshop standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Fabricating stainless steel and aluminium to a high standard

• Reading and working from drawings

• TIG and/or MIG welding as required

• Producing clean, accurate and well-finished work

• Managing jobs with minimal supervision

• Helping solve fabrication and workflow issues in the workshop

• Supporting safe work practices and quality standards

• Assisting less experienced team members where needed

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in stainless steel and aluminium fabrication

• Strong TIG and/or MIG welding capability

• Ability to read drawings and fabricate accurately from plans

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs

• High standards of finish, detail and workmanship

• Reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach

• Good attitude and ability to work well in a team

Highly regarded

• Experience in architectural metalwork

• Site installation experience

• Leadership or mentoring ability

• Drafting or CAD exposure
