Key Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing to accurately identify mechanical faults and worn or damaged components.

Diagnose engine and mechanical issues using specialised diagnostic tools and computer-based testing equipment.

Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Remove, dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical components, including engines, transmissions, steering, and suspension systems.

Replace faulty parts where required and ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.

Carry out routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, engine tune-ups, fluid replacement, lubrication, and preventative servicing.

Perform post-repair testing and make necessary adjustments to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or an equivalent qualification.

At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to workplace safety and delivering high-quality customer service.
