Alan Mance Motors is seeking a Trade Qualified Automotive Technician to join its experienced workshop team. Opportunities are available across Melbourne’s west, including our Footscray, Melton and Bacchus Marsh locations. This full-time role involves servicing and repairing a diverse range of vehicle brands in a clean, safe and modern workshop environment.

Task & responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance across a diverse range of vehicle brands.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Complete all repairs and maintenance work in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all servicing, diagnostic and repair activities.
• Work effectively within a busy workshop environment while managing assigned work reliably and efficiently.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive and team-focused workshop environment.
• Deliver quality workmanship that supports the business’s commitment to exceptional customer service.

Qualification & experience

• Trade qualified Automotive Technician/Mechanic
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Previous experience working in a high-volume automotive workshop is highly regarded. 
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. 
• Experience using computerised diagnostic tools is highly regarded. 
• Reliable, motivated and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.
