We are a small, family-run property maintenance company based in Earlwood on Sydney's Inner West and with work all over Sydney. • Fulltime position with the potential to continue as a permanent ongoing position dependent on performance. • 40 hours per week (5 days per week, 8 hours per day, 2–4-hour blocks) • Pay is negotiable dependent on experience • Mobile phone with phone plan and tablet for providing quotes to clients included in package • Uniform and PPE to be provided • Credit card available for materials and job supplies The successful applicant will report to the supervisor and will be responsible for general garden maintenance including but not limited to: • landscape maintenance activities as required on site, for example mowing, weeding, edging, pruning, planting, and hedging• litter removal and weed control• garden bed maintenance• leaf blowing and mulching• herbicide application Successful applicant:• have a horticulture or similar qualification desirable, apprentices are welcome to apply• have previous work experience in the industry preferred but not a must• have keen eye for detail and passion for the job• be able to work autonomously with minimal guidance• be able to communicate well with clients• be able to demonstrate compliance with WHS requirements and risk management practices• be good with ladders up to 14 feet• be capable of soft landscaping• be able to work all over Sydney• be physically fit, reliable, honest, punctual and hard working• own UTE, tools and insurance preferred but can supply all with different pay package• have a current and valid manual full driver’s licence.• be able to provide two references from previous work experience in the industry• be able to provide a police check.
