About the role

Blutec Waterproofing is seeking a skilled Waterproofing Technician/Applicator to join our team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for applying high-quality waterproofing solutions to commercial and residential properties. The role requires working on-site and contributing to the successful delivery of our waterproofing projects.

What you'll be doing

Preparing surfaces for waterproofing application
Applying waterproofing membranes, coatings and sealants according to manufacturer specifications
Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Troubleshooting and resolving any waterproofing-related issues that may arise
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Participating in tool box talks and team meetings
Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Waterproofing Technician/Applicator, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the trade
Strong understanding of waterproofing materials, application techniques and building regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Physical fitness and dexterity to perform the required tasks
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
Certification in waterproofing or relevant trade qualifications would be highly regarded
