Waterproofing Integrity provides specialist waterproofing inspection, testing, and compliance services across commercial and infrastructure projects. We help clients meet standards, avoid defects, and deliver long-term performance.

Due to continued growth across Sydney and NSW/ACT, we are seeking an Entry-Level Waterproofing Compliance Inspector to join our established Sydney team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying or recently graduated in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.

This role reports directly to the Consultant & Technical Manager and offers hands-on industry experience, mentoring, and clear development pathways.

About the Role

As a Compliance Inspector, you will carry out onsite inspections, testing, and reporting on waterproofing systems across Sydney metro projects, with occasional travel to regional NSW/ACT.

This is a technical, site-based learning role where you will be trained to:

• Interpret waterproofing details and standards

• Undertake various testing methodologies

• Identify defects, risks, and non-compliant work

• Communicate findings to builders, contractors, and consultants

Full training is provided no prior waterproofing experience required but will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite inspections and diagnostic testing

• Assess compliance with Australian Standards and project specifications

• Prepare clear, accurate reports within required timeframes

• Manage assigned projects with support from senior team members

• Build positive working relationships with clients and contractors

• Demonstrate safe work practices onsite

What You Bring

• Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, Architecture, or similar

• Interest in learning about waterproofing, construction quality, and compliance

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence interacting with site personnel and project stakeholders

• Competent computer skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to varying site demands

• Experience in commercial or infrastructure construction (advantageous but not required)

Essential

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence + reliable vehicle

• White Card
