Stirling Bulk is seeking a Full-Time Diesel Mechanic to repair, service, maintain and test heavy machinery, namely trucks, trailers, loaders, telehandlers, tractors, gensets and various other machinery in Tenterden/Cranbrook WA.

We are offering $90,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience.

The successful applicant will be required to apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills and knowledge in ensuring that the heavy motor vehicles and equipment are operational.

Fully equipped service ute for work provided. This position will be required to work away on occasion - accommodation and food provided whilst away.

 Specific tasks and responsibilities:

1.Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in plant and equipment 

2.Dismantling and removing engine parts to check and ensure the machines are in good condition

3.Repairing and replacing defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to the specific service manuals for equipment

4.Undertaking oil changes, lubrications and engine repairs

5.Testing and adjusting mechanical parts

6.Keeping good records and ensuring safe work practices

Required Skills and Exprience:

1.At least 5 years of experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic

2.Excellent communication skills

3.Drivers Licence

4. Be a team player and get along with others
