About the role

Jancode Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Formwork / Carpenter to join our team in Cairns, QLD. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of formwork structures, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met throughout all projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork materials to specification

2. Installing formwork structures and ensuring they are securely braced and aligned

3. Maintaining and repairing existing formwork components

4. Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate formwork activities

5. Adhering to all health and safety protocols on site

6. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Formwork / Carpenter, with a minimum of 1 year in the construction industry

2. Strong knowledge of formwork techniques and building codes

3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

6. Current construction industry certifications and licences
