As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking General Labourers to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Adelaide (Ferryden Park) within our Switchrooms department. We would like team members who are excited about the opportunity to build a stable, rewarding, and lucrative career with us.

Schedule

Full-time / Casual

A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).

Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).

The Position

Construction Labourers will be hands-on with assisting our vital construction team for the manufacture of transportable buildings. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn under the guidance of our area leaders and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of cladding and flashings.

• Connect structural base frames together as per drawings.

• Install wall and roof trusses.

• Installation of CFC flooring.

• Prepare transportable buildings for transport.

The Candidate

• Experience in all aspects of cladding

• Understands the process when installing flashings.

• Can install gutters and downpipes.

• Experience with steel framework construction.

• Ability to work in a team environment or autonomously as needed.

• High attention to detail.

• Great organisational skills and time management skills.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Note: Previous construction experience is desirable but not essential — we’re looking for reliable, motivated individuals with a strong “can-do” attitude and a willingness to learn on the job.
