The workshop is responsible for maintaining the company’s fleet as well as servicing vehicles for external fleet operators and private customers.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will perform servicing, diagnostics, and repair work on a range of vehicles in a busy fleet and mechanical workshop environment.

Benefits

Salary: $77,000 - $80,000 + Superannuation

Task & responsibilities

Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance on light and commercial vehicles.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.

Repair or replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems.

Conduct inspections and testing to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures and workshop best practices.

Qualification & experience

Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.

Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience as a motor mechanic.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of Australian workplace safety practices is desirable.
