About the Role

We are seeking a experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to carry out diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and maintenance of diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and associated mechanical systems. You will work in a fully equipped workshop alongside a skilled and supportive team, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in diesel engines, engine systems, and associated components

• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other mechanical parts for inspection and assessment

• Repairing and replacing worn, damaged, or defective components and reassembling mechanical systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications

• Performing scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, lubrication, engine tune-ups, and preventive servicing to maintain performance and compliance

• Reassembling engines and mechanical parts after repair work is completed

• Testing and adjusting repaired components to ensure proper functionality and operational performance

• Diagnosing and testing engine systems and components using computerized diagnostic equipment

• Responding to vehicle breakdowns and carrying out emergency mechanical repairs when required

About You

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant hands-on experience as a Diesel Motor Mechanic

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities across diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
