We're seeking skilled Motor Mechanics who will be responsible for keeping our fleet of vehicles operational. You'll play a critical role in keeping company vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy as our project team continues to take on projects across Australia. You’ll be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs to ensure our vehicles are ready to perform whenever and wherever they are needed.

Working closely with the project team, you’ll help minimise vehicle downtime, maintain high safety standards and ensure our fleet is well-maintained to support the successful delivery of nationwide projects.

Task & responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs on a mixed fleet of heavy and light vehicles including trucks, 4WDs, excavators, and support vehicles
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on petrol and diesel engines
• Complete preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Work with hydraulic systems, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation
• Support remote site operations with field maintenance when required
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety standards

Qualification & experience

Experience with:

• Heavy haulage trucks and prime movers
• Light vehicles and support 4WDs
• Hydraulic systems and attachments
• Diesel and petrol engines across various makes and models
• Excavators and earthmoving equipment (preferred
