Key Responsibilities

As an All-Rounder Tradesman, you will be responsible for independently managing and completing a wide variety of maintenance and minor renovation tasks. Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

• General Carpentry: Framing, timber screening, door and lock repairs, deck maintenance, and minor construction.

• Surface Repairs: Gyprock (drywall) patching, plastering, internal/external wall repairs, and painting/touch-ups.

• Tiling: Minor tiling installations, re-grouting.

• Fencing: Repair and installation of various fencing types (e.g., timber, colourbond).

• General Repairs: Replacing flyscreen mesh, hanging pictures and fixtures, fixing sticking doors, installing new door furniture (handles/locks), minor gutter cleaning, and assembling flat-pack furniture.

• Kitchen & Bathroom: Assisting with installation and fitting-out of modern kitchen and bathroom renovations.

• Customer Service: Maintaining clear communication with clients and the office team, ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and service.

• Site Management: Ensuring work sites are kept tidy, safe, and that all jobs are completed on time and within the quoted scope.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

• Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as a qualified Tradesman, All-Rounder, or Experienced Handyman.

• Demonstrable proficiency in multiple trade areas (e.g., carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering).

• Valid NSW Driver’s License and reliable transport (van/ute) and basic tools of the trade.

• Current White Card (or equivalent construction induction card).

• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

• Excellent time management, punctuality, and organisation skills.

• Professional presentation and outstanding customer communication skills.

Desirable (Highly Regarded):

• Relevant trade qualifications/certifications (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry, Painting, etc.).

• Experience in the residential property maintenance sector.

• Willingness to travel across our service area (Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Central Coast, Hunter Valley).
