We are seeking an experienced Cylinder Head Machinist to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for precision machining of cylinder heads for standard and high-performance automotive engines.

What you will be doing:

• Operate high end machinery and manual machining equipment to refurbish and modify cylinder heads
• Inspect components and identify any issues or defects
• Perform precision measurements and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain detailed records of work completed
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to optimise production processes
• Maintain machinery, equipment and tooling

Requirements:

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Engineering or equivalent trade certification
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Cylinder Head Machinist or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
• CNC machining experience would be an advantage
