Task & responsibilities

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
2. Performing maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more
3. Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components and checking parts
4. Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
5. Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs
6. Accurately completing service documentation and job cards
7. Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions
8. Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
9. Following all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualification & experience

What we're looking for

1. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification).
2. Current valid Driver’s Licence
3. Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
4. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
6. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
8. A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations
9. Available to work on Saturdays (Rotating Roster - 8am to Midday)
