We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts & Administration Manager to join our growing team. This is a vital, full-time role in a faced paced environment, offering variety, and the opportunity to make a real impact on the day-to-day operations of the business.

The Role

Reporting directly to management, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and administrative functions, ensuring smooth financial operations and an organised office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-function bookkeeping and manage all financial reporting

• Process weekly payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlements

• Handle all accounts payable and receivable, BAS, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting

• Manage office administration including document control, reception duties, and general clerical support

• Coordinate ordering of parts, office and staff supplies

• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of office and staff amenities

• Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as required

• Support project costing and tracking using Xero Projects

• Maintain accurate employee information via Xero Me

• Liaise with external accountants, suppliers, and internal teams as needed

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting experience (minimum 3 years)

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Xero, including Xero Projects and Xero Me

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• A high level of organisation and attention to detail, must be able to prioritise competing deadlines and tasks

• Excellent communication and time-management skills

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently

• Experience working in a similar role within manufacturing or a trade-based business (highly desirable but not essential)
