Task & responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out timely, safe repairs.
• Perform test drives to check repairs
• Replace worn or damaged components and install new parts, ensuring proper fit and secure installation
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, including service logs, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with field technicians to ensure the ongoing reliability and functionality of vehicles and inspection systems.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and cleanliness

Qualification & experience

• Qualified mechanic with relevant qualification such as Automotive diagnosis 
• Have at least one year of work experience for the role 
• Reliable, honest, and self-motivated
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Experience with a wide range of vehicles (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Knowledge of the automotive industry
• Good attention to detail
