About the Role

We are seeking two (2) qualified and experienced Motor Mechanics to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities 

• Conducting diagnostics and identifying mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems
• Repairing and maintaining petrol and diesel engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems
• Performing scheduled servicing, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups
• Inspecting vehicles and testing parts using diagnostic equipment to ensure roadworthiness
• Dismantling and reassembling engines and components
• Replacing worn or defective parts and reassembling mechanical components
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety and industry standards
• Maintaining accurate service records and communicating effectively with customers regarding repairs

Skills & Requirements

• Relevant qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
