Task & responsibilities

Responsibility

Supports the servicing and maintenance of motorcycles by ensuring workshop equipment, parts, and consumables are properly prepared, organised, and maintained to assist mechanics in delivering safe and efficient repairs.

Duties

•    Ensuring all parts and packs from uncrated new motorcycle units are properly boxed, labelled, and stored.

•    Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workshop station at all times.

•    Monitoring and maintaining adequate stock levels of workshop consumables such as coolant, brake cleaner, tyre shine, tyre buff, oils, and other service materials.

•    Inspecting workshop air lines and pneumatic systems to ensure they are in good working order and free from air leaks.

•    Checking that oil pans, funnels, and other servicing equipment are clean, organised, and readily accessible.

•    Preparing tools, parts, and consumables required for motorcycle servicing and repairs.

•    Assisting qualified mechanics with general workshop support tasks as required.

•    Reporting equipment faults, hazards, or low stock levels to the Workshop Manager.

•    Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualification & experience

Qualifications

•    AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training 

•    AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

Experience

•    At least three years of relevant experience.
