ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Sheetmetal worker / Welder to join our Door Manufacturing team as a Steel Fabricator. In this role you’ll interpret plans and schematics to translate them into production of residential & commercial door solutions. You’ll receive ongoing training and development plus the opportunity to manufacture customised products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Fabricate a range of metal doors and frames to specification 
• Ensure quality control standards are met
• Ensure jobs are prioritised and completed within a timely manner
• Read and understand product schematics and assembly instructions.
• High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 5 years' experience with Sheetmetal
• Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods 
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy 
• Demonstrated ability to weld & polish thin metal
• Ability to learn new skills and understand instructions
• Manual Vehicle Licence
• Forklift Licence (LF) advantageous
