About the role

SAI Motor Works Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Rutherford, NSW. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This is a key role within our Automotive Trades business, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles

Carrying out scheduled maintenance and servicing on vehicles

Test driving vehicles to ensure repairs have been carried out to a high standard

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed

Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience as a Motor Mechanic in a similar role

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and repair vehicle issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

A current driver's licence and your own tools
