Out There Group is the crew behind some of Australia’s most iconic experiences from massive live events to the world-famous Summernats Car Festival, and the legendary Street Machine Magazine. We don’t just run events, we build culture, community, and pure automotive mayhem!

Now we’re on the hunt for a Marketing Coordinator who’s ready to dive into the deep end of the car-mad, fun-fuelled entertainment scene.

ABOUT THE GIG

You’ll be joining our fast-paced, creative marketing team, a tight-knit bunch who live for the thrill of putting on a show. Based in either our Kingscliff or Wollongong office, you’ll play a key role in driving campaigns that fill grandstands, pack out festivals, and make Aussie car culture shine.  This isn’t a remote job – we need you with our people.

You’ll get to plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns that break the mould, spark conversation, and leave a mark.  From EDMs to social media and on-the-ground promotions, you’ll work closely with event ops, design, and commercial teams to bring each event to life and keep our fans, racers, and sponsors pumped.

This isn’t your typical desk job, it’s hands-on, high-energy, and you’ll get a front-row seat to some of the biggest car shows in the country.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Bring our events to life through killer marketing campaigns - from Summernats to the National Drag Racing Championship and everything in between.

• Work with our design and content crew to create scroll-stopping digital content and event promotions.

• Create and send EDMs that drive the buzz, fuel ticket sales, and keep our fans coming back for more.

• Manage websites and socials to keep fans in the loop and the buzz alive.

• Coordinate campaign calendars, timelines, and partner deliverables.

• Track results, report on wins, and help shape what’s next.

• Support merch, signage, and even on-site activation planning.

• Basically - be the marketing glue that holds the madness together.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We want a creative spark that shines in the festival & event space. Someone who brings fresh ideas to the table, loves seeing them come to life, and isn’t afraid to push boundaries.

• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field.

• 1–2 years’ experience in event or campaign marketing.

• A love for cars, culture, and putting on a bloody good show.

• A knack for turning ideas into campaigns that make people stop, look, and get involved.

• Top-notch communication and organisation skills.

• Experience with social media scheduling, EDM platforms, and digital content tools.

• A team player who thrives on creative chaos (the fun kind).

• Ready to travel, roll up your sleeves, and dive into the action of event life.
