Role Details

The Event Coordinator provides coordination and administrative support across SAMSB enabling the planning and delivery of events, ensuring activities are organised, documented and delivered in line with established plans, timelines and operational requirements.

The role works collaboratively across business units, to support event readiness, delivery and pack down, while maintaining a high standard of organisation, communication and stakeholder support.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the planning and delivery of events by coordinating schedules, logistics, documentation and resources in line with established plans.

• Assist in preparing event sites and activities, ensuring materials, equipment, suppliers and documentation are in place ahead of delivery.

• Provide day-to-day coordination with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders to support smooth delivery of event activities.

• Undertake event-related administrative tasks including run sheets, document preparation, scheduling, correspondence and record keeping.

• Assist with invoicing and procurement processes including payment tracking, supplier coordination and tracking of event-related goods and services.

• Support event operations during delivery, including bump in and out, troubleshooting, coordination of activities and responding to issues as they arise.

• Maintain accurate records, track tasks and assist with post-event reporting and debrief activities.

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the team and across business units as required, responding to emerging priorities and ensuring activities are progressed efficiently and in line with business needs.

Special Conditions

• The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.

• The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.

• Some work outside of normal hours will be required.

• This role requires a National Criminal History check.
