PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As Event Crew at Woofys, you're hands-on in bringing our brand experiences to life. You'll load and unload event assets with care, drive our Woofys vans to and from site, set up and style activations, see them come alive, then pack everything down and return assets safely to the warehouse. No two events are the same, but every shift is about delivering high-quality experiences with precision, pride and a great attitude.

You love being a key part of producing our memorable events where the client raves about our product, service and people. Because of your skills and attention to detail, our activations look and feel amazing with the Woofys WOW factor. Our events wouldn't be successful without this crucial role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Packing the event: you pack the events (assets, machines, kits, equipment and produce) into the van at the warehouse in a safe and methodical way to ensure smooth delivery of your events.

  • Delivering events: you love a schedule and arrive on time - if not early, with a smile to bump in client events. Liaising with the client and your Event & Logistics Manager, you get the event set up impeccably as per the guidelines on the event job sheet.

  • Bumping out: what gets set up, must get packed down – you look after the pack down and bump out events in a swift and professional manner. Delivering the event back to the warehouse where you unpack, maintain, and clean everything before returning all items to their dedicated area.

  • Troubleshooting on the go: things don't always go to plan so your ability to think on your feet and adapt is key.

  • Adhoc tasks: assist with various tasks including packing and prepping events, cart maintenance, painting, branding application, delivering or picking up orders and general housekeeping, etc.

ABOUT YOU

  • You're organised, you respect a schedule and arrive at the warehouse with ample time to plan your route, check your assets and pack your van to ensure you arrive on time at the event.

  • You're energetic, hardworking and reliable. You are the first face of Woofys that a client will see at an event, you represent all of us!

  • You have an eye for detail- you take pride in all of Woofys assets and equipment and actively ensure everything is transported safely, whether on the way to bump in, or when restocking back at the warehouse.

  • You have your full Australian Drivers licence with a squeaky clean driving history, you are comfortable driving a van and can navigate a loading dock like a pro.

  • You prioritise safety – you have precious cargo on board and tight deadlines – despite this, you ensure that you drive safely at all times, prioritising road rules and safe driver habits, as well as when you're in the warehouse

  • You're physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment but you use all safety equipment provided to ensure a secure and safe environment eg ramps, pulleys, dolleys etc.

  • You're reliable and willing to learn and adapt

  • You're flexible- the events industry is not your typical 9-5 job and you don't mind late nights, early mornings or weekend shifts.

  • You're proactive, can work autonomously, and show initiative – you know that things never go to plan (despite how well you plan!) but you're able to think on your feet and solve problems with minimal fuss, pre-empting issues and putting the client at ease throughout the engagement
