is seeking a full-time Advanced Diagnostic Light Vehicle Mechanic to form part of our professional team.

Task & responsibilities

• Repair, service, and maintenance of engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes and other mechanical components in light vehicles.
• Complete engine rebuilds and overhauls.
• Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups.
• Diagnose complex electro-mechanical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
• Carry out advanced preventive diagnostic assessments to enhance vehicle reliability and safety.
• Perform Safety Certificate inspections and roadworthiness assessments.
• Provide training to automotive apprentices and trainees.
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional workshop team to deliver efficient, high quality service.

Qualification & experience

• Cert III - Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Cert IV - Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis.
• At least 3 yrs mechanical & complex fault diagnostics experience.
• QLD Approved Examiner (Roadworthy License) certification essential.
• First Aid certification essential.
• Complete engine rebuilds and overhaul experience essential.
• A/C Refrigeration handling license preferred.
• EV/HEV & BEV certification preferred.
• Valid open/unrestricted Manual QLD Driver’s license
