Task & responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults across various vehicle brands
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and inspections in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and perform repairs
  • Performing engine, transmission, suspension, braking, and steering repairs
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and roadworthiness checks
  • Ensuring all work complies with workplace safety standards and industry regulations

Qualification & experience

  • Qualified Motor Mechanic (Australian qualification or equivalent overseas qualification recognised in Australia)
  • Proven experience working with European vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with Japanese and American vehicle brands, including Toyota, Ford, Hyundai, and similar manufacturers
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills
