Task & responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety and roadworthy standards
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime
• Accurately record all work completed, parts used, and service history
• Respond to urgent repairs and breakdowns as required to support fleet operations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure fleet reliability and operational efficiency

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or similar (required)
• 2-2.5 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic (mandatory)
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to report faults and work effectively in a team.
