Printing – Assistant Production Manager

We are Complete Colour Printing and Adams Print, based in Cheltenham and Geelong and operating for over 130 years. We are a highly awarded business with a reputation for high quality products, and we are looking for an Assistant to our Production Manager at our Cheltenham facility
You will have experience in any of the manufacturing areas of the printing trade and be looking to progress from the position of operator to production management.
Our manufacturing operation consists of; Full pre-press (file preparation, proofing and platemaking), Digital Printing (both Toner and Inkjet), Offset Printing 105 size equipment down to 52 size equipment , Bindery including: Folding, Saddle Stitching, PUR Binding, Die Cutting and high-volume guillotining, pick, pack and despatch

About the Role
You will work directly as 2iC to the production manager, where you will be trained and contribute in the end-to-end production processes of our high-volume print company. It doesn’t matter what area of the industry you have experience in, you will learn all the other areas within the training for this role.
Our production office is based in Cheltenham; candidates located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne will find an easy commute to our business.
What You’ll Need
Print manufacturing knowledge in one of the areas of; Pre-press, Printing or Bindery and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, positive attitude
An interest in the production of high-quality printed products
