We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our busy and well-established workshop at Midas Port Adelaide on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of light motor vehicles to a high professional standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Performing logbook servicing and general maintenance
  • Repairing engines, transmissions, suspension, steering and braking systems
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and road testing
  • Using modern diagnostic and workshop equipment
  • Completing job cards and service documentation
  • Maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness

Qualification & Experience

  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant full-time experience
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
